Presses for self clinching
The Rivit's presses for self-clinching are machines for the installation of self clinching, a fast fastening system mostly used in industry and in the thin sheet metal working.
The Rivit's presses ranges from the manual toggle presses to the modern pneumatic presses for self-clinching to be used on box-shaped pieces and metal manufactures of different shapes.
The manual toggle presses are characterized by an extreme simplicity of construction, a high power ratio and the utmost working safety. The main feature of this product is the very short time needed for the replacement and adjustment of punches and dies.
For operation it does not need any energy sources, except the user, thanks to the lateral lever which, with a sole 90° rotation generates a high pressure on the self-clinching to be installed. The Rivit's pneumatic presses for self-clinching, available in two models, with throat depth 200 and 450 mm, are among the most versatile machines for the fastenings on box-shaped pieces and metal manufactures of different shapes. RIV2200 and RIV2450 reach up 7,000 kg force on a wide range of shaped pieces. Maximum security during the working operations thanks to the moving saddles that reduce the distance between the die and the punch, and maximum versatility due to the numerous interchangeable shapes and to the eccentric matrixes that allow the installation of the fasteners very close to the edges and to the folds.
The Rivit's presses for self-clinching are widely used in all the industrial fields, and in the thin sheet metal working, easily solving any problem with the assembly on metal sheets, box shaped parts, and thin walls also when already painted sagome.
