History of an enterprise

1973 : at the very beginning a small reality started its operations in San Lazzaro, close to Bologna, dealing with fixing systems, and marketing small metal parts such as blind rivets, rivets, nut and bolts.

1981 : to widen its production activities, Rivit moved to Idice.

1990 : Rivit started production of blind rivets. Blind rivets were produced in different alloys, responding to the needs of many application sectors.

2002 : at this stage the new goal was the International Market, daring to compete with new realities and to widen the strategies of partnership and marketing.

2006 : It was time for a new challenge: Rivit moved into a new, bigger and more modern building located in Ozzano dell’Emilia (BO) and equipped with an automatic store, which assured and supported a cutting-edge logistic system, able to fulfil the widening demands of the international market.

2009 : Achieves UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 Certification for design and production.

2011 : Rivit India Fasteners Private Ltd is born. The new production and distribution Company for India and the Far East, based in Chennai, services all companies of sheet metal working: automotive, transportation, appliances and electronics.

2017 : Rivit Maroc was founded, the new subsidiary in Rabat, the capital of Maroc, an open window on the African market.

2021 : Rivit joins FERVI GROUP, the Italian group active in the MRO (Market, Repair and Operation) sector.

2023 : Rivit celebrates 50 years on the market.
