Chemical anchors

The Rivit's chemical anchors are wall chemical anchoring systems, made by two component resins styrene free, and which offer safe and high performances: fixings are odorless and nontoxic.

The Rivit's chemical anchors are composed on two types of resins:

• polyester, with or without styrene, ideal for applications with solid masonry and hollow-type standard walls
• epoxy acrylate, a resin suitable for use in enclosed spaces, or poorly ventilated areas, thanks to its non-toxic and odorless features

These chemical anchors can be installed on solid masonry: drill a hole, and then fill it in with the compound. Prior to the application it is essential that the hole is cleaned from dust, for example by means of compressed air.

The chemical anchors can also be used with hollow bricks. In this case a special cage is needed to prevent the dispersion of the material. The cage allows the installation of both threaded rods and threaded bushes, the latter being ideal to create anchoring seating inside the walls.

The advantage of the Rivit 's resins is their versatility:

• they can be used both with solid masonry and hollow bricks
• no need for additional fixings

The chemical anchors are perfect with any carpentry fixing: railings, signs, curtains, plumbing and electronics installations. Excellent results are obtained also with the anchoring of threaded parts, eyelets, hooks, pins and hinges.

These types of wall anchoring systems can be sold in 380ml cartridges, which are used with special dispensing guns for chemical anchors.

The chemical anchors are mainly used for applications in industrial buildings hydraulic supports, with illuminated signs and steel frames.
