Structural rivets
The Rivit structural rivets are fastening systems ideal for applications requiring strong resistance to cutting and traction and they feature automatic locking of the stem.
To this group belong the RIVBU, RIVINOX rivets and the more technological LOCKRIV, MAGNARIV, MONRIV.
They can be made of different materials: zinc coated steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
LOCKRIV rivets
The structural LOCKRIV rivets are used for high resistance fastening on small thicknesses. The can be made of aluminum, stainless steel or zinc coated steel.
The advantages granted by the use of this kind or rivets are significant: the bevelling on both ends of the mandrel (tip head) allows a quick insertion both inside the nosepiece of the riveting tool, and also inside the hole where the rivet has to be placed. The deformation of the washer-shaped body gives as results high tensile strength, perfect filling of the hole where the rivet has been placed, maximum clamping on aluminum, fibreglass, plastics. The mandrel blocking inside the body produces a structural fastening.
The joint obtained with LOCKRIV is aesthetically pleasing: the surface is smooth and clean, without sharp edges. Main fields of application: automotive, industry, building and construction. Also they are widely used for agricultural machinery, electric installations, household appliances, commercial and transportation vehicles.
MAGNARIV and MONRIV rivets
The structural Rivit MAGNARIV and MONRIV rivets can replace the traditional technologies as nut-bots, rivets and weldings, and are ideal for use on components subject to vibrations, in automotive industry, heating-ventilation and air conditioning systems, heavy carpentry, etc.
The MAGNARIV and MONRIV rivets are a quick and extremely versatile fastening system, which can be used to assemble parts having different thicknesses. The mandrel retaining inside the body guarantees a structural fastening and consequent higher shear and tensile strengths.
MAGNARIV and MONRIV rivets are available in stainless steel, zinc coated steel or aluminum.
