After installation the rivet nut is a little bit self-locking.
The rivet nuts for plastics are designed to be installed after the moulding.

• It is possible to place rivet nuts away from the moulding zone.
• "Press open" time reduced, consequent increase of the productivity.
• Scrap rate reduced, the risk of shifting of the rivet nuts during the moulding is eliminated.
• Installation can be automated.
