RIV938 and Rivit rivet nuts

The hydropneumatic tool RIV938 is designed to place Rivsert female rivet nut from M3 to M10 and Rivbolt male rivet nuts from M4 to M10, using the adjustment of oil pressure (force).
RIV938 is provided with automatic screwing by positioning the tie rod in the rivet nuts: 1 phase rivet nut deformation and unscrewing.
In order to avoid the use of a special rod, a system has been projected to lodge an allen screw (hardness class 12.9), easy to find on the market and replace.

The rivet nuts are fasteners that can create a thread on pre-holed plates, having access only from one side of the work-piece. Their application does not cause damages or deformations on superficially plated materials.
This rivet nut can be “blind side” assembled and can therefore also be installed on hollow pieces and sections of large dimensions.
The rivet nuts are bushings with threaded seat and a chamber to be expanded into a permanent deformation on sheet metal; they are not suitable for receiving other elements to be assembled through the use of screws.
The rivet nuts are available in zinc plated steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and with different head types: dome, countersunk or reduced. They can be rather cylindrical or hexagonal, open or closed end shank.
The rivet nuts can be used to assemble thin sheet materials, such as gaskets and lids on frames, or other light joints in automotive, aerodynamic and aerospace industries. They are also ideal for fastening several elements and for watertight assemblies against liquids.
